How Developers are paid:
Developers are paid via paypal. You must have a PayPal account, if you don't create one. As such paypal will charge a 2.9% +$0.30 transaction fee. We recommend to our developers that they wait until they have earned a decent amount of money in their MallJoomla account until they decide to be paid out, around $30. Naturally when you the developer decides to receive a payout is entirely up to you and MallJoomla is more than happy to pay out at any amount. Developers may also choose to have a check mailed to them from MallJoomla, the cost is $4 regardless of the amount to be paid out.
What happens to your money before it is paid out:
When a consumer purchases one of your templates or applications the money is collected by Malljoomla and is held in a secure bank account until you are ready to receive a payout.
What MallJoomla’s Commission is for:
The low 10% that MallJoomla charges is to cover our administrative costs, hosting fees, arbitration if needed by the consumer along with a myriad of other expenses. Other companies charge anywhere from 20-30%. MallJoomla’s main goal is not to make money but rather to build a community of developers and consumers and to make website building fun, easy and more importantly cheap.
